They were a key piece in the eighties and this summer denim shorts are firmly back on the back on the fashion agenda. Gap have the perfect pair, the denim is expertly worn, while the length is just right (long enough to roll up once or twice without becoming short). Channel Paula Yates for how to wear them now by teaming with Antipodium’s black body and an oversized 80s blazer from Topshop. Give the outfit some retro edge with a vintage, straw box bag and black espadrilles. For the perfect finishing touch, add Fred Butler’s pink hairband – we love the geometric shape and pop of colour.
