Clear your diaries. This weekend a royal christening is taking place. Surely, we can expect Kate to wear a beautiful dress and more adorable photos of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana (with Prince George too, obvs). But what else do we know about the christening of the royal family's tiniest tot?

When?

This Sunday, July 5, at 16.30 GMT.

Where?

St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham (near one of the Queen’s many houses)

Who’s baptizing her?

The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Reverend Justin Welby. Because, who else?

Who will be there?

It will be close family (incl. HRH) and godparents, with the Middletons also on the guest list.

Who won't be there?

Prince Harry. He's on a three-month conservation mission in Africa so can't make it (sob.)

Who are the godparents?

Miss Sophie Carter, Mr. James Meade, Mr. Adam Middleton, The Hon. Laura Fellowes, and Mr. Thomas van Straubenzee.

What will she wear?

'Princess Charlotte will wear the hand made replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by Angela Kelly, Dressmaker to The Queen,' said a statement from Kensington Palace.

Wo’s taking the photos?

Princess Diana’s favourite photographer, Mario Testino. Testino said he is ‘overwhelmed and honoured’ to have been chosen.

Following the service?

They will all have tea at Sandringham House. And guests will be served slices of Christening Cake, which is a tier from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding cake.

You can go if you want.

Although the service is private, royal well-wishers can wait in a paddock (cosy) in an attempt to catch a glimpse of Charlotte. Warning: Norfolk Police have said fans should expect ‘a long wait in the heat with minimal facilities in the area’.
