Easy Ponytails

The humble ponytail is no longer reserved for that quick fix on a bad hair day, it’s now a fashionable hairstyle in its own right and everyone from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to Kate Bosworth have been pictured trialling the trend, showing us exactly how it should be done...

The ‘Power’ pony was the style of choice by Gwyneth Paltrow, who wore hers high and tight, with a chic black hairband.

Kate Bosworth took her ponytail to greater heights with the addition of texture on the crown of her head – an edgy take on the classic style.  

Kate Hudson wore hers low and loose, gathering her soft waves at the nape of her neck.

Also a fan of the low, wavy style is Reese Witherspoon who allowed strands to hang loose, framing her face. 

Rosie Huntington Whiteley’s pony was the epitome of elegance, with her glossy locks draped to the back of her head and secured by wrapping a section of hair around the join.
