ELLEuk.com beauty writer Amy Lawrenson and actress Jennifer Aniston
It all started in 1994 when Friends first aired. She had me at hello. I remember wanting ‘The Rachel’ cut so much, I was 11 at the time so this considered, layered cut was a bit odd-looking on a tween, but I didn’t care. Since then Jennifer’s style has evolved into a signature, she rarely veers from what suits her - tanned skin, toned limbs, natural make-up and that glossy, long mane of hair. I love her expensive and honed look. And I go back to that age old mantra of wanting what you don't have: my style is somixed that I long for a signature look like Jen’s.

Sigh.

ELLE and ELLEuk.com beauty director Emma Strenner and actress Marion Cotillard
It's the French thing isn't it? Her features are small, dainty, and she makes an espadrille sandal look the height of sophistication and chic. And in A Good Year, she's everything that charming French ingénue in a French village with cobbled streets should embody. That natural wavy brunette hair, the clear sun kissed skin and those big deep set brown eyes, c'est magnifique non?
