Old Hollywood Glamour

Hollywood's red carpet is bursting at the seems with some real old fashioned Tinseltown glamour. There were plenty of structured waves a la Veronica Lake, seen on Blake Lively who could quite easily step into her biopic with her latest look at the LA premiere of her latest film, Savages. Anna Friel's bouncy large curls were resonant of Katherine Hepburn's trademark wave while the more daring Amanda Seyfried and Coco Rocha worked their inner Marlene Dietrich with a punchy bold red lip and slick backed ponytail. We also love Emma Stone's 50s  inspired waves and glittery eyes, and Katy Perry's playful ode to Betty Page. High maintenance old school glamour is just the thing – and not so impractical for us. There's nothing more chic than a slicked back pony and slash of red lipstick to make you look completely pulled together with minimal effort.
