Everyone's Wearing.. Denim Shorts

They have been a summer staple for decades, but the way to rock the humble denim short for summer 2009 is high-waisted and retro - just like Chloe Sevigny, who has teamed her vintage denim shorts with socks and loafers. If you don't think you can pull of the socks, take your style cue from Rihanna who opted for just the loafers. Or channel Rachel Bilson, Leigh Lezark and Lindsay Lohan who have added edge to their look with studs and lace. Alexa also gets it right, playing down the obvious sexiness of denim hotpants with a granny-chic cardi and loafers.
