Everyone's Wearing... Pointed Stilettos

Stella McCartney championed them on the A/W 2010 catwalk and now she and her A-list friends are making pointed-toe heels their footwear of choice. Statement clogs and round-toed pumps have been ditched by the likes of Kate Moss and Elle Macpherson in favour of the classic, sharp shape that was reinvented by Louis Vuitton (cue Natalia Vodianova). For inspiration, look to Kate Bosworth who teams her nude satin pair with denim and simple tailoring for a feminine, off-duty look. Perfect for minimalist dresses and relaxed mannish tailoring and shorts, or for adding extra sexiness to skinny trousers and cocktail dresses. Pointed kitten heels and stilettos are the key autumn accessory to be worn now.
