Thought you had to pack away your chunky boots once the sun came out? Think again. Take your cue from these style setting celebs who are mixing their low heeled ankle boots with super-short, floaty skirts for a romantic look with a twist. A dark coloured pair in suede or leather will add a toughened edge to everything from a silver cocktail dress to a jersey polka dot number. And if you're braving summer's bare legs with figure-hugging mini skirt then flat boots like Rosie's Isabel Marant pair are a fail-safe way to dress-down your look.
