Mrs who? Since stepping into a solo career and solo private life, Cheryl Cole’s style has moved on as well, with tougher pieces and edgier labels coming to the fore. No longer the girl next door, this pop queen favours frothy little frocks and towering heels – the better to show off those toned legs with, my dear – but isn’t afraid to venture into diva territory with floor-sweeping gowns.
Still, sometimes everyone needs some sartorial armour, and that’s when Cole breaks out the military- and biker-inspired blazers, buckled spike heels and aviator shades. Top gun, indeed.
