The 28-year-old model will appear as Paula, a ‘promiscuous free spirit’ invited to a yuppie couple’s dinner party in The Leisure Society. The comedy opens at Trafalgar Studios in March 2012.
Deyn’s first stage role follows a major part in Pusher, a drug-land drama due for cinematic release next year. She also made a cameo in as Greek goddess Aphrodite in last year’s Clash of the Titans.
‘When I did Pusher in the summer, it was like: this is what I'm supposed to be doing,’ the ELLE cover star told the Evening Standard .
‘I just loved it so much and it excites me to be able to do it. I want to do it as much as possible—film, theatre, everything.’
