Project Catwalk, America’s Next Top Model, every other country’s Next Top Model, The Rachel Zoe Project, The Model Agency, The City, Kell on Earth—the world is full of fashion-orientated reality shows.
It’s about to get one more. Alexa Chung has been signed to host 24-hour Catwalk, a new show in development in the US. The format sets designers against each other for runway challenges. ‘The thing that is happening now in fashion culture is that every character and subset of skill is being explored, and there is going to be great shows coming out of that,’ Rob Sharenow, executive vice president of programming at Lifetime, the network producing the show, told WWD.
