The TV presenter is co-hosting with Ashanti and Jack Osbourne, and she’s taken a lesson or two on board from her last hosting experience, with MTV’s ‘It’s On with Alexa Chung’.

‘[Y]ou can’t control everything,’ she told Lifestyle Mirror of the show, which shuttered after two seasons on air. ‘I think It’s On was a lot for everyone to take in. I wasn’t known here [in the US]… But we did the best we could. I liked it! Sort of no one else did though. I think it was just too much of me, I don’t know…

‘If you don’t like me, then, having a show of just me is difficult to watch so it was like a leap of faith for MTV and I’m really happy that they gave me that opportunity.’

Since ‘It’s On’, Chung has designed two fashion collections for Madewell, played herself on an episode of Gossip Girl and signed on as the spokesperson for Maje, all of which pushed her profile to definite ‘known here’ levels in the US. She's even working on a book... not that she’s taking herself too seriously.

‘It’s just clothes, isn’t it, at the end of the day? That’s what occurred to me recently. It all got a bit serious for a minute, and then I was like, it’s just f***ing clothes you know? Stressing out about what to wear and then I’m like, I don’t really give a sh*t! So I just wear black jeans, a navy blue jumper, and Chelsea boots.’

If only it were so easy, right?
