‘I DJ on the side, yeah. You say DJ—it’s very loose. Essentially I make two CDs. I don’t really mix. I just press play, and then make it look like I’m very busy,’ the presenter joked with Fallon during an appearance on Wednesday night’s show.
‘And then if I run out of things to do, such as, “Ooh, I really need to mix this next track that’s really important,” I’ll resort to just being a bit stupid behind there to entertain people who are obviously disappointed with my music choices.’
Chung proceeded to demonstrate her tricks, performing the ‘walking down the stairs’ move behind Fallon’s sofa as she would behind the decks.
The presenter, wearing a silver cut-out coat and matching heels from Marc Jacobs’s spring-summer 2012 collection, also discussed 24 Hour Catwalk. The format of her new fashion competition show pits designers against each other in creating full fashion collections within one day.
‘They get very emotional,’ she said. ‘The thing I didn’t think about when they were talking about doing the show—I was like, “Oh, that sounds amazing, so mean, they’re going to be really tired. And then I realised that it also involved me being awake for 24 hours as well. I’m the punk who has to go in and tell them what to do!
‘By episode six I was losing my mind.’
