Angelina Jolie is already an Oscar-winning actress, a UN special envoy, a mother of six and partner to Brad Pitt. And now we can also call her a Dame, after she received an honorary damehood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list in recognition of her humanitarian work.

The actress, who spent most of last week in London co-chairing the End Sexual Violence in Conflict summit with Foreign Secretary William Hague, joins the 1000-strong honors list, which also included Dame Maggie Smith, Daniel Day Lewis and teenage cancer victim Stephen Sutton.
