Anne Hathaway knows how to keep things quiet: only last week she was telling press that she and her fiance – fellow actor Adam Shulman – hadn’t set a date for their wedding, but the ceremony actually took place this weekend on the Californian coast at Big Sur.
As ELLE reported last week the wedding dress was custom-made by Valentino Garavani – founder of Valentino. The frothy, full-skirted tulle gown was a perfect fit for the romantic event, backlit in the evening light. Apparently Anne’s big day was arranged by wedding planner Yifat Oren – who also helped plan Natalie Portman's wedding to Benjamin Millipied. Both couples wed in traditional Jewish ceremonies in the West Coast resort.
It was a big weekend for celebrity weddings all round - as Holly Valance and Cat Deeley both tied the knot. Congratulations one and all.
