Anne Hathaway has received rave reviews for her latest turn on the big screen as Fantine in Les Miserables, but it seems she can’t quite let go of her last role as The Dark Knight’s Catwoman.
The star chose a dramatic black taffeta dress by Tom Ford with a scoop back and bustle for last night’s New York premiere of Les Mis, teamed with a slick of dark red lipstick, her newly short hair combed into a sleek side parting. So far, so glamorous.
Waist down she stepped out in a pair of custom-made vegetarian leather over-the-knee boots designed by Tom Ford, which would have been perfect for Batman’s feline foe.
Thrust, Angelina Jolie-style, out of a thigh-high split with multiple straps and buckles the stiletto boots looked as much bandage as they did bondage.
With Givenchy Couture already on her Les Mis premiere wardrobe roster, and now these boots, it's clear the actress means high fashion business. We can't help but wonder, what's coming next?
