Forget sporting glory or the love of the game. David Beckham said the thing that pleases him most about signing a two-year extension with the LA Galaxy is the relief of earning enough to keep baby Harper Seven in designer clothes.
‘Her wardrobe is ridiculous,’ Beckham joked during a Google+ and YouTube interview . 'I'm glad I got a two-year contract.’
The Beckhams have doted on their first daughter, dressing her in a parade of designer babywear pieces from the likes of Chloe and Bonpoint since she was born six months ago. David, whose bodywear line for H&M launches on 2 February, said Harper seems to take after her mother.
‘Everything about her is feminine,’ he said. ‘Her first word is going to be mama.’
