Victoria Beckham: ‘We’re introducing a new generation to Girl Power.’

Speaking with fellow Spice Girls Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Mel B amd Emma Bunton at London’s St Pancras Renaissance hotel, Victoria Beckham said ‘I think we’re going to be introducing a whole new generation to Girl Power.’ Wearing a dress by her own label with Tom Ford boots, Beckham looked as groomed as you’d expect from the woman behind the British Fashion Award’s Designer Brand of the Year 2011.

The girls assumed their former character roles for the occasion: Geri Halliwell wore a dress that she created after a visit to Berwick Street market, mirroring the homespun Union Jack dress her sister made for the BRIT awards in 1997. Excitedly sharing that Wannabe’s ‘Zig-a-Zig-ah’ lyrics would be appearing in a West End show, Geri grabbed Mel B’s bottom alongside Mel C, something ‘they did all the time’ Mel B confirmed. It was just like the old times...

Emma Bunton, still cute as ever, was excited that her own baby spice could now learn about her music. ‘My little boy doesn't know who we are so I can't wait for him to know what his mum does.'

Meanwhile a poised Victoria Beckham exclaimed ‘we’re just so excited about the whole thing’.
