All the single ladies singer Beyonce is to star in and direct a documentary film about... herself.
Set to hit the small screen in February next year, the film will air on US channel HBO, the home of Sex and the City, Boardwalk Empire and Girls.
This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home, said Beyonce in a statement. 'Some of my favourite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming.
And personal it promises to be, with self-recorded video footage and live performances, as well as behind the scenes insights into the impossibly cool world of the singer, her rapper husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy.
