ELLE knows how to keep a secret. But some things are just too big to hold onto... like, for example, the news that Bradley Cooper is our ELLE Style Awards Best Actor winner, and the triple-A lister will be at the ceremony in London on 11 February to collect it.
The award celebrates a stellar year for Cooper, who cut his teeth in small-screen drama Alias and burst into film in the 2005 box office smash The Wedding Crashers. In the past 12 months, however, things have really taken off: Silver Linings Playbook, in which Cooper plays a man with bipolar disorder, is proving an awards season favourite and the yet-to-be-released A Place Beyond The Pines has some serious critical buzz around it already.
We are delighted that Bradley will be able to pick up his ELLE Style Award in person, says ELLE editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy. He is an incredibly popular and accomplished actor whose work resonates across a wide audience. And he is a personality many designers would love to dress.
