Well, apart from the Brit designers adorning the red carpet and Rihanna’s Givenchy Haute Couture gown, there were of course some pretty stellar performances. Top of our list was a nostalgic Blur set while Adele , Florence and the Machine and Rihanna all seriously impressed.
Off stage, George Michael made a surprise, if slightly slurred appearance, and ELLE’s guilty pleasure One Direction won British Single while suited and booted to perfection. Adele was of course the star of the night, winning two awards while Emeli Sande , Ed Sheeran and Lana del Rey were named best breakthrough acts.
