At 41, Cameron Diaz is proof that age is just a number. Still more likely to be playing a romantic lead that someone's mum (and putting her twenty-something co-stars in the shade), the stunning Hollywood actress is looking hotter than ever.

But in an interview with Oprah, Cameron admitted to feeling the pressure that Hollywood can unfairly exert on women – and spoke out against the impossible ideals we are expected to live up to: "We don't give ourselves permission to age gracefully… It's almost as if we have failed if we don't remain 25 for the rest of our lives".

And it's not the first time that the ELLE cover star has spoken out – since penning self-acceptance manual The Body Book, Cameron's set her sights on changing the unrealistic standards set for women by society.

The interview will form part of upcoming tv special Cameron Diaz & Sharon Stone: Aging Gracefully. And we'd say that they both, most certainly, are.
