ELLE is having a Bowie moment and we’re not the only ones.

With the landmark V&A exhibition opening this month, a stylish new video starring Tilda Swinton and today’s album release – the UK’s current Bowie obsession isn't about to lose momentum.

The Official Charts Company predict that Bowie’s 24th studio album The Next Day is on course to secure the British icon his first UK Number 1 album in 20 years.

The Next Day racked up the biggest first day sales figures of any album this year (56,000 copies sold, and counting).

It’s a lead chart experts are confident the album will hold on to through the weekend when the Top 100 is revealed on Radio 1 on Sunday.
