Dior signs Mila Kunis for S/S campaign

‘Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman,’ said Delphine Arnault, Dior’s deputy general manager. ‘Her performance in Black Swan was remarkable. She is very gifted. We are looking forward to a long relationship with her.’

The move suggests that someone in the Arnault family could be a major fan of Darren Aronofsky’s acclaimed ballet thriller, as Kunis’s co-star Natalie Portman already fronts the campaign for the house’s Miss Dior Cherie fragrance. (In March, Portman—who regularly wore Dior gowns to red-carpet events—issued a statement condemning former Dior creative director John Galliano over his anti-Semitic tirade.)

Kunis, a self-declared fashion neophyte, said she can’t wait to wear Dior gowns during the upcoming awards season.

‘I love to feel feminine when I’m on the red carpet,’ she told WWD. ‘I find that Dior is an incredibly grounded house. I always thought what Dior does is so sophisticated, feminine and beautiful.’
