'?I give it a year,' says Naomi (Minnie Driver) dryly at the whirlwind wedding of her sister Nat (Rose Byrne).
Beautiful, ambitious Nat seems so mismatched with her geeky, slacker husband Josh (Rafe Spall), you might be tempted to agree.
But what this lacks in romance it makes up for in comedy as the pair struggle to stay together amid 12 months of fall-outs and temptations.
Stephen Merchant provides toe-curling humour as Josh's clumsy friend while Simon Baker oozes smarm as his nemesis Guy.
And with a hilarious performance from Olivia Colman as a despondent relationship counsellor, I Give it a Year is good for a laugh throughout.
