The ELLE office is full of fashion and beauty obsessives but no one is more devoted than one recent intern, Louise Wedderburn, 18, who is the focus of a documentary that will be screened on Channel 4 this evening.
Louise suffers from Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), a rare disease that causes the soft connective tissue of the body, such as the muscles, to gradually turn into bone.

There are only 45 confirmed cases in the UK and 700 worldwide. But her health difficulties haven't altered Louise's unwavering ambition to work in fashion.
The programme follows Louise during her internship at ELLE – sorting through products, assisting on the street style blog and writing beauty copy – and throughout her work experience placement at London Fashion Week helping to check the models’ styling and make-up backstage at one of the shows.
Louise wowed team ELLE with her incredible style, hard work and determination, as you’ll see in tonight’s documentary.
