She picked up a gong at the MTV Movie awards at the weekend (looking super cute in a Brood dress) as part of the ‘Best Cast’ for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, but Emma Watson’s post Potter films are lining up nicely.
Following last year’s supporting role in My Week With Marilyn, Emma is stepping into her first lead role since Potter with The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. Based on the critically acclaimed novel by Stephen Chbosky and produced by the team behind Juno, in Wallflower Emma takes the role of Sam – a young woman that helps the main character, Charlie (played by Logan Lerman) find his inner cool.
Hype has been steadily building since filming started in June last year, and with future films directed by Sophia Coppola and Seth Rogen in the works, we think Emma could be the most successful Potter alum for the future.
