Say NO to gender discrimination in the workplace and NO to the gender pay gap by saying a big fat YES to Think, Act, Report.
This week, Jo Swinson MP, Minister for Women and Equalities, spoke out about the success of Think, Act, Report, a Government scheme that aims to develop a fairer and more flexible workforce.
‘This is about making sure business can do what works for them to tackle gender inequality in the workplace so that the next generation of women can reach their full potential,' Swinson.
The initiative’s second annual report has just been published, revealing that 136 companies – Virgin Media, M&S and the Southbank Centre included – now support the scheme.
This is brilliant news, as is the fact that there are more women working in the UK today than ever before and the said gender pay gap is at an all time low.
However, the fact that a pay gap still exists at all is nothing short of grossly unfair, which is why every single man and woman should encourage their employer to sign up to Think, Act, Report. Now.
