Cara Delevingne, Caroline Sieber and Lydia Hearst mingled with Azealia Banks,Henry Holland and Amber Le Bon in the Hyde Park gallery’s temporary pavilion, a sunken, shaded platform designed by Herzog & de Meuron and Ai Weiwei.
And what did they wear? The crowd appeared split between planning for a potential downpour and embracing the fleeting warmth of a summer evening. Hearst, Sieber, Freeman and Mischa Barton opted for ivory dresses, while Delevingne, Martin and Erin O’Connor covered up in black columns.
Seeing the bright side of summer were Suki Waterhouse, who paired her full-length floral gown with a red biker jacket; and rapper Banks, who slipped her feet into eye-catching orange jelly sandals. The rapper vied for bragging rights over sparkliest look of the evening with Holly Valance, who wore a long-sleeved, gold-sequinned dress.
