If you don’t know what Game of Thrones is by now then we suggest you either start watching the HBO series immediately, or rapidly remove yourself from any social media starting from the 7th of April – because it's back.

Last night, ELLE attended the UK premiere of Season 4, held at the rather spectacular Guildhall, where we watched the first episode of the highly anticipated new season. Many of the cast members were in attendance, with Sophie Turner (Sansa), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) doing a Q&A.

Although we aren’t allowed to give anything away plot-wise, fans will be pleased to know that due to demand, Sky Atlantic has agreed to air the show at the exact same time in the UK as HBO airs it in the US – that's 2am GMT on 7 April. It will also show during its regular 9pm slot.

Although trying to get as much as we could out of the cast members on the panel, they were - as ever - careful about what they gave away. Even Gwendoline Christie, when asked about it on our David Bailey shoot for the April issue of ELLE, said: ‘I can’t tell you anything… All I can say is that it’s dark.’ Yesterday, Sophie Turner suggested the same, explaining that she didn’t want to say much except her character Sansa is evolving, and begins to finally get her way by using her femininity to manipulate people.

No spoilers here, but it's safe to say that winter is most certainly coming. And we can't wait.
