Jennifer Lawrence scooped the best actress in a comedy or drama award last night at the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards. The Hunger Games actress collected the award for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook in a red silk strapless gown from the Christian Dior autumn/winter 2012 couture collection. She teamed it with a silver box clutch and matching metal belt.
The designer choice came as no big surprise as Lawrence was recently snapped up by the French fashion house to front their Miss Dior handbag campaign, and will be taking over from range’s current face, fellow young actress Mila Kunis in March 2013.

Best actress in a drama went to Jessica Chastain for her performance in Zero Dark Thirty, which hits British cinemas on January 25. The Lawless star chose a peppermint blue backless halterneck gown by Calvin Klein to collect the award, teamed with sparkling Harry Winston jewels.
Anne Hathaway collected the award for the Best Supporting Actress for her much-celebrated role as Fantine in the film adaptation of Les Miserables, which won three awards in total, in a white Chanel strapless top and column skirt from the spring/summer 2009 couture collection. The outfit was embellished top to bottom with crystals which matched her fine bracelets and diamond studs, both also Chanel.
