It’s set to be the movie moment of the year – Baz Luhrmann’s Great Gatsby lands in cinemas and we’re already brushing off our flapper dresses in preparation.

We’ll have to wait another month for the film release, but to satisfy your curiosity and love for all things roaring twenties, we’ve got the new TV trailer and a collection of just-released film posters.

The TV spot is a tantalising explosion of frills, flounces and Art Deco-stylings – set to a sultry soundtrack of Florence and The Machine and Lana del Rey.

Carey Mulligan looking wistful in this new movie poster

Baz Luhrmann’s film features an all-star cast – including Carey Mulligan as the flighty Zelda and Leonardo DiCaprio as the irresistible Gatsby.

We’re promised that this will be a highly visual interpretation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel.

While Leo looks moody as the troubled Gatsby

Fans of Luhrmann’s other famous adaptations, Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet, will expect Luhrmann's distinct brand of highly stylised and wildly imaginative films.

We can’t wait for the party of the year to begin.
