David Beckham is hosting a ground breaking global digital book signing for his new self-titled book. The event will take place in central London and be broadcast around the globe on Wednesday 30 October at 3pm EST.
Those in London will be able to meet ELLE cover star Beckham in person, while fans in Hyderabad, New York and Sao Paulo will be able to get an autograph the star using innovative technology. Viewers not present at the specially created Facebook Digital Stadium will be able to contribute questions that UK sport presenter Jake Humphrey can put to Beckham on the day.
The book reveals images (some never seen before) from his football career spanning three decades and during the Q&A he will be sharing anecdotes behind some of the personal and iconic images.
Of the event Beckham said, I always like innovative and original ideas. What has been created is ambitious but it should be a fantastic event. I love the interaction with my fans but not only will I be able to do this in London, I will be able to sign for them in locations across the world."
