After all the tasteful little dresses (and, you know, a certain everything-and-more bridal gown ), Kate Middleton chose a rum-pink sequinned gown from Jenny Packham ’s S/S ’11 collection for a charity gala at Kensington Palace last night.
The Duchess of Cambridge slinked down the purple carpet for the Absolute Return for Kids (Ark) event in the floor-length stunner, featuring a crystal-embellished waistline and net flutter sleeves that softened the sparkle. She finished the look with LK Bennett shoes and a pink satin clutch.
Middleton and Prince William were among 900 guests at the 10th annual gala dinner. Jemima Khan, Elizabeth Hurley , Sophie Dahl and Laura Bailey also attended.
Just one question: where’s the tiara?
