Katy Perry has launched her own record label.
Our reigning ELLE Woman of the Year introduced Metamorphosis Music on Twitter yesterday, confirming also that she's made her first signing: the 'incredibly talented and soulful' pop singer Ferras.
'Ferras is a man with a message, and a unique lyrical way of communicating his perspective on life that makes you feel connected to every note when you listen,' she explained of her new protegée, who will join be supporting her during the North American leg of her Prismatic World Tour.
'I believe he is going to be an important artist to watch unfold.
Metamorphosis Music is a joint venture with Capitol Records, which released Katy's first three albums.
