When a magazine asked the singer what she plans to give Beyonce for her upcoming baby shower, Rowland said she wasn’t sure.
‘I think her dad [Jay-Z] is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love,’ Rowland told Us Weekly.
Later, when questioned about how she expects the first child of two megastars to be raised, Rowland repeated the gaffe: ‘I think she’ll be very well behaved,’ she said. ‘Her parents will make sure of that.’
Rumours that Beyonce asked friends for pink Christian Louboutin booties for her baby have led fans to believe that the singer is expecting a girl, but Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have kept mum about the sex of the baby.
Perhaps Rowland can make her unwelcome revelation up to the future parents by babysitting. ‘I’m good with messy diapers,’ she joked, saying she has experience thanks to Solange Knowles’s son Julez. ‘Solange made me do Julez’s messy diapers. I’m good with that.’
