It's like all our Christmases have come at once - ELLE couldnt be happier at the recent realization that a host of our favourite female singers are releasing coinciding albums. Heres our round-up of the ones to watch out for:
Lykke Li I Never Learn
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/5SrEdAeGj6Y?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/5SrEdAeGj6Y?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Since she appeared on the music scene, the acclaim that has followed the Swedish born singer has at no point diminished, and her third studio album, I Never Learn, makes one thing immediately clear: Lykke Li is certainly not going anywhere. Filled with minimalistic compositions and introverted sounds, the album is a perfect showcase of the brilliant, yet understated vocal talent of the artist.
I Never Learn is out May 2.
Lily Allen Sheezus
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/9kPQiAJv4fo?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/9kPQiAJv4fo?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Lily Allen has come a long way since she first made us Smile (sorry!). And if it wasnt already clear from the albums brave Kanye-inspired title, and her recent controversial G.A.Y impersonation antics the singer hasnt lost her fiery spark. Sheezus presents as an album choc with catchy pop tunes, filled with empowering lyrics that touch upon topics such as internet trolling and feminism. We salute you Lily.
Sheezus is out May 5.

Although the title may present as somewhat of a mouthful, this hasnt stopped us excitedly anticipating the arrival of the divas fourteenth album. Despite now having two twins in tow, the songstress certainly hasnt let this slow her down, with her album featuring a host of current and veteran rnb artists all infused with Mariahs trademark breathy raspiness.
Me. I Am Mariah The Elusive Chanteuse is out May 27.
Lana del Rey Ultraviolence
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/o3SqUUoJjW8?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/o3SqUUoJjW8?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
The crooning songstress is back with her highly-anticipated second studio album, Ultraviolence, and with the undeniable success that poured forth with her debut this one looks to be an even bigger hit. The singer has already leaked teasers from the album such as her single, West Coast: all moody guitar notes and Lanas trademark saccharine vocals (which hints at a potentially darker album tone). To say we can't wait is an understatement.
Ultraviolence is out June 2.
