TV presenters Alexa Chung, and Miquita Oliver and models Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof, and actress Jaime Winstone took over the party, dancing to band Hot Rats, the new group formed by Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey.
The fashion crowd, including model Erin O'Connor, designer Henry Holland, ELLE Editor-in-Chief Lorraine Candy, designers Erdem and Jade Jagger all quaffed Champagne from individual mini Moet bottles, and snacked on silver trays of Godiva chocolates.
After Hot Rats had finished their rocking set the music mantle was taken up by the DJ spinning tunes from the likes of Florence And The Machine, naturally, another Elle Style Award winner.
When the crowd weren't getting on down the hot gossip amongst the girls was about how utterly delectable Nicholas Hoult and David Gandy, the D&G model were.
