Models talk aging and the industry

The aging process can inspire shudders in any woman, but for supermodels, growing older can feel like a calamity. A new documentary explores attitudes toward aging held by a whos who of classic models.

About Face, directed by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, features Jerry Hall, Isabella Rossellini, Marisa Berenson, Carmen DellOrefice and Paulina Porizkovas candid views on aging and the industry.

A release, quoted on Fashionista, says: About Face is a step back in time to a glamorous, yet complicated, era when drugs were rampant and women were routinely harassed and mistreated. The divergent attitudes among the women about everything from the business of modeling, to aging and plastic surgery, are fascinating and priceless.

The film doesnt come out in the US until after the Sundance Film Festival in January, but with quips like that, we cant wait for it to reach the UK.
