Not content with being a musician, record producer, fashion designer, hat-lover and all-round global superstar, Pharrell is now turning his hand to art by curating an exhibition in Paris. And, like his latest album and the upcoming fragrance he’s creating alongside , the exhibition is also called Girl.

Girl, which features 40 pieces, including 10 commissioned especially for the event, is an homage to liberated women. This is underlined by the fact that, of the 37 artists who created the artwork, half of them are female.

As if our photo shoot this weekend hadn’t already endeared us to Pharrell, the news that he’s celebrating liberated women in this exhibition makes us love him even more. Subscribe to ELLE now to make sure you don’t miss out on the images and interview from our shoot.

Girl runs from 27 May to 25 June at Galerie Perrotin's Salle de Bal, 60 rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris.
