Pippa Middleton’s career as a party-planning expert has taken a giant step forward.

The most famous aunt-to-be in the world has signed on with supermarket giant Waitrose - which has not one but two royal warrants, we've noted - to write a column, Pippa’s Friday Night Feasts, in its Waitrose Kitchen magazine.

In a statement, she describes the deal as ‘an exciting opportunity to share my own passion and enthusiasm for food and entertaining’.

‘I’m delighted to be writing for Waitrose Kitchen, a magazine that’s always been a source of inspiration to me,’ she adds.

Her party planning book, , may have earned mixed reviews but this latest deal is proof that you can’t keep a Middleton down.

Says Waitrose Kitchen editor William Sitwell: ‘Readers will love her relaxed and easy entertaining ideas which will help with the preparation for all sorts of occasions.’

...Like celebrating a new arrival into the family, perhaps?

Pippa stars on the magazine’s cover, pictured, out 28 March, to launch the collaboration.
