More details(-ish) have arisen about Alexa Chung’s latest presenting gig. As we reported last month, Chung will host a Project Runway-style show called 24-Hour Catwalk on the Lifetime network in the US.
Now, the NYPost has reported that the show will air in the autumn, with Miramax boss (and Marchesa squire) Harvey Weinstein producing.
The series promises to feature appearances by designers such as Cynthia Rowley (filling Michael Kors ’s chair, we suppose?) and will pit designers against one another for runway challenges.
Does the world really need another designer-challenge TV show? Probably not. But with Alexa front and centre, will we watch? Probably yes.
