Award-winning immersive theatre company Punchdrunk are returning to London and collaborating with the National Theatre for the first time in six years - following their New York smash-hit Sleep No More.

The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable promises to be the cult company’s biggest production to date – reportedly taking over a central London space the size of three football pitches.

Typically for Punchdrunk, who have pioneered immersive, roaming theatre experiences, the show is shrouded in mystery: The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable will take place at ‘a secret location in Zone 1’, the performance apparently lasting ‘up to three hours depending on your journey.’ So far, so surreal.

If you’re feeling brave and fancy taking ‘a journey along the precipice between illusion and reality’ – we’re wildly intrigued - tickets go on general release at noon on Friday 22 March..

Hurry though: we predict a stylish riot to bag one.
