If we were to hazard a guess at Rihanna’s lucky number, we’d go for number seven. Following her 777 tour last year, featuring seven concerts in seven countries in seven days, she’s now created a number of magazine covers for a men’s magazine. How many you ask? Yes you guessed it - seven.
Complex, a men’s magazine devoted to style and entertainment, has released seven different covers of their latest issue, each representing the title of one of the singer’s seven albums.
Seven covers means seven outfits and each one – dug out of the singer’s archives – is as racy as the next, with everything from black trousers and Chanel braces (for 2011’s Talk That Talk album) and floral bikinis (2010’s Loud) to lace-up leather trousers (2009’s Rated R) getting an airing. Most recent album Unapologetic’s cover warranted no clothes at all.
Inside, the singer models further iconic Ri-Ri looks, as well as a jacket from her upcoming, and as yet largely unseen, collaborative collection with high street chain River Island, which is set to hit stores this spring.
