The first lady started her day by attending the Peter Pilotto show, wearing a printed top from the designers’ current A/W ’11 collection with black Joseph trousers, LK Bennett courts and an Emilia Wickstead belt. She also appeared at the Christopher Kane, Erdem and Burberry shows.
‘London Fashion Week shines a spotlight on our talented British designers and I'm proud to see its reputation continue to go from strength to strength,' she said. ‘These shows bring so many important global industry figures and business to our capital, it's fantastic to see the impact the industry has on our economy.’
Cameron has pieces from all of the designers whose shows she enjoyed in her wardrobe. She wore a neon green lace dress by Kane to the Scottish Fashion Awards, and accessorised her Burberry Prorsum dress with an Erdem headpiece at the royal wedding in April.
