After starring in Pirates of The Caribbean and , rising British actor, Sam Claflin, is adding another box buster number to his CV having just landed a role in The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.
Joining Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson (who reprise their roles of Katniss and Peeta, respectively), Sam will be playing Finnick Odair a Hunger Games tribute who is forced to fight for his life in a brutal futuristic reality show. Fans of the novel series will already know Sam's character's fate, but [Spoiler warning!] you can be assured the odds are in his favor in Catching Fire.
The film will begin filming early next year under the eye of I Am Legend director, Francis Lawrence, and will hit cinemas in November 2013.
