Reports from the States claim Charlize Theron has shaved her head for a role in the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road.
The South African actress can currently be seen in cinemas in both Sci-Fi thriller Prometheus and fairy tale fantasy Snow White And The Huntsman but has chopped off her golden locks for the character of Furiosa in the Mad Max sequel.
The film – which is set to also star Tom Hardy as Max and co-star Nicholas Hoult – is currently in production and Theron’s decision to shave her head brings her into an elite league of ladies who can successfully work the tightest of hair crops.
