The jeweller created archive-inspired designs for stars Carey Mulligan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher and Tobey Maguire to wear in the 1920s story of love, lies and lavish Long Island garden parties.
‘This collaboration is a natural for us,’ the company’s Executive Vice President Jon King said. ‘Our archives contain spectacular jewels from the 1920s that are the basis of the one-of-a-kind designs we have created for this iconic American story.’
Adding another layer to the collaboration is the fact that Gatsby author F. Scott Fitzgerald was a Tiffany customer. The jeweller created platinum and diamond bracelets, rings and headpieces, as well as long pearl necklaces, to adorn the flapper dresses and period designs. The Great Gatsby is filming now in Australia.
