Posh, Baby, Sporty, Ginger and Scary brought some serious girl power to the Olympic Closing ceremony. They quintet of gobby gals arrived in painted black cabs and burst out in a bang of sequins and spangles.
Victoria Beckham lived up to her Spice moniker in a mullet hem custom made Giles Deacon gown. Geri Halliwell wore a clever reinterpretation of the now infamous Union Jack minidress: designed by Suzanne Neville, the dress had Britain’s national flag emblazoned on a bustle at the back of her red dress. Her outfit was topped off with an O,ympic-inspired gold filigree tiara designed by Halo & Co.
Mel B's stylist dressed her in a glitterball catsuit designed by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.
All girls were in more grown-up versions of their original Spice characters, with Baby Spice wearing a short pink dress with sequined shoulders designed by Maggie Cooke, which was paired with shoes by Gina. Mel C aka Sporty Spice wore a white jersey crop top and side-split trousers.
