She's one of the biggest female pop stars on the planet and now Rihanna's staging one of the biggest world tours ever – commandeering her own 777 jumbo jet, and playing 7 shows in 7 countries in the world in 7 days.

Rihanna's 'rock and roll fantasy', the 777 Tour', just touched down in Mexico City spilling 200 bands members, press and revellers onto the scorching tarmac.
The star of the show did a walkabout just before takeoff in a thicket of flashing iPhones.Before we knew it, Rihanna had grabbed the microphone and announced 'This is an emergency, welcome to 777. Make some noise and let's get drunk! And everybody look in their gift bag right now. There's a little string in there that looks s****y and cheap but there's a real diamond in it. So you can never say you never had a diamond in your life. Give it to somebody special. I love you!'
Sitting near ELLE were her massage therapist, creative director, costume designer, choreographer, djs and president of Roc Nation.
EVERY plane should have canapés, drinks, hot towels and guitarist Nuno performing up the sharp end (who we remember when he had waist-length hair and was in Extreme). Oh – and did we mention the trays of nougat chocolates?
You couldn't move for people videoing each other. We were prodding a silverside of beef and necking a US gin and tonic (i.e. no tonic) when Rihanna reappeared laden with gold bottles of Ace Of Spades champagne (brand ambassador: Jay-Z) and started splashing out huge plastic beakers of the stuff to everyone on board.
'And if you REALLY want to black out,' her PR Gen added, 'we've got cognac.'
Rihanna then played her first show; in Mexico - then we all piled back on the airbus and staggered out in Toronto at four in the morning.
